KUNZ 1

Spodumene var. Kunzite, Pala, San Diego, California
Bi Color Kunzite, Pala, San Diego, California
Picture Kunzite, Pala, California
Here's an old time, well crystallized Kunzite crystal from the gem mines of Pala.  This particular one is bi colored, which is somewhat uncommon for the species there.  It is very light colored until looking down the c-axis, where the pink color is much more pronounced.  This piece has some neat crystallization features, and could cut a stone or two if faceted.  It measures in at approx. 4 x 3.7 x 2.4 cm and weighs 28.5 grams.  Specimen CAKNZ-1

Picture of amethyst from pakistan
Picture of quartz from pakistan
Here's a cute specimen of Amethyst growing off a quartz and feldspar matrix.  The amethysts are intricately individually crystallized out into a beautiful cluster which was again slightly coated by a slight amount of additional mineral.  This was from a find about two years ago, and is very similar, if not identical, to material which was found in Afghanistan years prior.  The pocket produced beautiful, sceptered pieces.  Has tons of little inclusions in the amethyst! Crystallized almost all the way around, it displays from multiple angles.  Measures approx. 7.5 x 4.7 x 5 cm.     Specimen BALAM-1

A fantastic cluster of larger baryte crystals.  These all have pretty decent luster and one of them has a growth of the second generation of crystals.  There is some old damage to the top of the largest crystal, which I think may clean up rather well with a watergun (I do not have one).  This specimen measures in at approx. 6.6 x 4.2 x 2.9cm.  Specimen  12-268

An excellent cluster of Rogerley Fluorite made up of 1 larger, main crystal and some smaller ones on one side of it.  It has what appears to be 2 different generations of quartz, the main coating being the first, followed by a second which developed on top of the more solid coating.  Very minimal dingage on this piece and VERY aesthetic.  Measures in at 7.5 x 5 x 4.8 cm.

Phantom Calcite crystals.  I lost the tag for this specimen, but I want to say it's from the Sweetwater Mine in Missouri, but I'm not 100% sure.  Has a few tiny dings and one of the tips has been broken (see middle picture).  Still a decent sample and has been in my personal collection for quite some time.  I left the dirt on it for photographing so the depth and "elestial" nature in the sides of the crystals would be visible.  I will ship it nice and clean.  Specimen CAL-1
